Just a note to say how much my family and I enjoyed our outing with you in Murrells Inlet. It was exciting to see schools of Mackerel feeding on bait fish and casting into them. It made for the perfect day on the water. I particularly appreciated your patience with my teenagers. They had a wonderful time and I think they got a kick out of your poetic nature. Dear Capt Pete,

Thank you again for the wonderful day guiding me and my two sons fishing in Murrells Inlet. When I began planning my vacation at Myrtle beach, I was hoping to do some close to shore fishing with a guide in a casual, kid friendly setting. Sean (9yrs) and Josh (7yrs) are just starting to learn to fish and have been tentative about it in the past. I was doubtful I would find a guide for us. I scanned the internet and found mostly deep sea excursions until I found your web site. It was very informative and appeared to be just what I was looking for. When I e-mailed you and you responded back so quickly and enthusiastically, I had to give you a call. I could not have been more pleased with our outing. Murrells inlet is a beautiful setting. You were excellent working with my two boys. You helped them learn to cast with open faced reels. That was made more difficult with them both being left handed. As the morning passed, I could see their confidence build. Now they will only fish with open faced reels. No  more push button reels for them. You hooked them on to some flounder and they were fun to catch. We ate them with gusto later that evening. The next day, they were asking if we could go fishing with you again. We will the next time we come to Myrtle Beach on vacation.
